Sound dissection

Post by lettabeats » Wed Oct 12, 2011 3:48 am

Hey, guys I've been trying for a while to figure out how to get the sound that Kromestar uses in the song ghostship

The sound I'm talking about would be the mid range bass that fades in from about 10 seconds in and lasts until the drop...
I've been trying to get something that sounds similar but i cant get that high/mid sound that gives it that texture...
I just can't seem to find the right waveforms to get that creak...
Any help on how I might get that sound would be veryyy appreciated.

Thanks guys!

We have a thread dedicated to Dungeon style sound design questions;

The 'help me make that dungeon sound' thread - http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=194041

Might be of assistance 8)
