Assuming I'm identifying it correctly as bass and not just a lead of some sorts
It kicks in for this song at around 0:30 seconds.
Ignore the fact that it's Deadmau5, Prog House, and I'm posting this in a Dubstep forum. I'm just a curious guy and you guys have the best answers out there for me when it comes to EDM production.

it's layered. normal overcompressed/saturated saw wave for the bass and something that sounds kinda fm-ish layered on top of it getting more and more extremely modulated over time.
