We have a South African Radio station called 5FM.
The play mostly local and international pop, rnb , hip hop, house, etc.
Mainstream tunes for the masses.

So the other day they decide to play some DUBSTEP.

And yes, you guessed it, F-ing Mt-Eden Dubstep.
I stopped my car and projectile vomited out of the window.
So then they have a phone in to hear what people think of this new style of music.

Firstly they classify Mt Eden as something new and innovative.
Secondly, the people phoned in to say how incredible they thought sierra leon was.

Once again I had to projectile vomit.

Can`t expect much from a mainstream radio station but I definatelly didn`t expect them to go and find the pits of music and call it good.

Considering how many shows he's played with Mt Eden since this originally circulated, I think its safe to say this is a photoshop...

Electric_Head - Its funny, you've clearly jumped a legitimate hater wagon for all the wrong reasons, I dont think anyone ever had a problem with the originals mt eden has produced, rather all the tunes from their youtube account which were blatantly stolen from other producers.

And in the end, they admitted to that, apologized for it publically, and its hard to be pissed at em after that.

Because the sentence you just said makes no damn sense, and you probably wouldnt like actual dubstep or 2step if you heard it?

I was quoting on the Mt Eden -Sierra Leone remix.
Being from Sa and hearing the original freshly ground track played live, it was a shitty attempt at a remix by Mt Eden.
Simple.

Teknicyde - really?

Par on his life

If the sweaty nuts guy is mt eden, your tracks that I have heard that are remixes are god awful, but some of your originals are reasonably good so fair play if youv apologised for the remixes

I kinda started caring again when I read these posts  I still think it's awfull, as long as they know it's so different from the original sound it shouldn't be called dubstep.

Also, people from South Africa talking about how great Sierra Leone is seems kind of weird.

no they absolutely did, what?! Dont you misquote me like that. I just said tht they DID steal/publish some questionable some tunes. The tunes they stole have been admitted to and wrongs righted to the best of their ability. My post had nothing to do with anything thats on their youtube account anymore, and doesnt detract from the tunes they've actually written.
