Play Wanka, and only Wanka.

Though that will steal the show, probably don't want to show up an innovator of Dubstep like Doctor P.

Thanks for all the helpful responses, the 2 or 3 of them. I took some time of producing and mixed up some brand new stuff and I probably wont play either of there tunes. I first saw this as problem but its now just a challenge making me a better dj. Pretty stoked about droppin some of my unreleased tracks and some other not so well known stuff.

After all, as a major name in the dubstep world who is constantly innovating and pushing the sound forward, the Doctor will no doubt turn up with a bag full of unheard dubplates, and won't be remotely interested in dropping his old stuff. :W:
Hahaha i doubt doctor p even knows what a dubplate is.

By the sounds of the crowd you'll be playing to, dont take any songs and just make random noises on the mic for an hour. I find Yoii and Bleurgh work best.

Kinda like ''Yoii, Yoii, Bleugh, Yoii.....wwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrmmmmppppppp, Yoii''.

He's not asking for track suggestions, he's asking about etiquette.

Regardless of him being in attendance, you shouldn't be playing Doctor P tunes anyway.

edit: in all seriousness, I always have to deal with this situation. I DJ in a crew (Dubliminal) full of producers. Since I don't produce dubstep myself, whenever we gig together I generally ask (or tell!) people if I can (or that I'm going to!) play some of their productions. People are generally OK with it if you let them know in advance. Most of the time I go for tunes of theirs that they don't play anyway.

As far as people I don't know...I played some Kryptic Minds tracks when they were about to go on in another room. Got a bit of beef for that  Honestly didn't even think
