Alpha & Omega are solid, true rockers in the dub scene for some quite time now, i agree with you on this one.Truth & Rights wrote:Alpha & Omega. To me "Who's The Ruler" is the first dubstep tune.
Suddenly, there was a terrible roar all around us, and the sky was full with what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car, and a voice was screaming:
Holy Jesus. What are these goddamn animals?

Watch and Pray
The track is from the album "Watch and Pray" from 1992. The version I'm referring to is the one from Alpha and Omega's Sound System Dub compilation. It's really reminiscent of what DMZ are doing today.
Another producer who could make great Dubstep is Stereotyp from Vienna. Actually his Electro-Dancehall style is not to far from Dubstep. Especially the "Dub Club" track.

Re: Watch and Pray
Oh man, you are calling some big names that i have to agree for, Stereotyp' is a good one as well as Makossa and Megablast, those are producing some great stuff as well and i bet they would do some wild stuff, Roots Manuva has a great dub album as well and i can easily see him producing some dubstep material.Truth & Rights wrote:Another producer who could make great Dubstep is Stereotyp from Vienna.
