Re: DSF SAMPLE PACK 32 - VOTING
It's pretty awesome how different all the songs are, coming from the same sample pool. Here I was worried all of them would sound like mine

Re: DSF SAMPLE PACK 32 - VOTING
I enjoyed C & A but voted C.
Some of them were on the repetitive side, but all great.

Great songs!
I really enjoyed the sound design in C, sounded like an awesome mix of Apparat & the Hyperdub sound in general. the only problem with it is that the structure doesn't build up of flow to its maximum potential. But the glitchy pad sound is the bomb!
I also really enjoyed D's very jazzy, dubby sound and the fact that there was a lot of room for all of the elements to breathe, nice atmosphere.
G has this incredible Boxcutter, u-ziq, chopped-to-fuck vibe to it that i really love. i really enjoyed the tempo shift in the middle and the variation on the main theme afterwards. I also really dig the fact that the sounds are harsh but the mix sounds really smooth, nice contrast.
H has an awesome elastic-choppy feel to the bass i that definitly dig and the sweeping pads are really cool. The very Meshuggah-like rhythms are really cool and the fact that it has the spirit of metal-like dubstep without being overproducing and really raw is great.
and the atmosphere in I really showcases that you could actually make an entire song with just a really good reverb! the deep, funky vibe is really awesome...i think it's what a happy Burial would sound like. It's great to hear something closer to old-school Garage as well. and the Talkbox like vocal snippets make it even funkier...the but the bass in the second half is a tad too loud.
I like the contrast between the heavier sounds and the really IDM-like vibrato sound in J and the alternating between both is cool, but the song lacks a bit in dynamics...
so G it is for me! props to the guy/girl who made it, i really dig the broken breaks sound!

Grats! Great track! Like I said earlier.. It's really something how differently creative everyone is. Also, if anyone wants to download A they can have it:
