“Space Ace”, the new EP from Rx & Shiftee debuts October 17th via Rad Summer!:

The heatwave from Rad Summer continues with the label’s fourth release “Space Ace”, a 3 track scifi bass EP from producers Rx and Shiftee. The opening and title track “Space Ace” is an epic collaboration by the two producers that literally feels like a UFO lifting off. Rx’s solo contribution “Orbit” follows with a groovy bassline and quirky sample that invokes data transmissions from satellites. Rounding out the EP is a “Landing Boots”, Shiftee’s melodic downtempo composition. RS004 is available in digital retailers NOW!

Rx and Shiftee are a new production duo hailing from New York with several individual accomplishments. Rx is most commonly known for his monster collaboration “Malt Liquor” with Chae Hawk featured on Plastician’s dubstep/hip-hop crossover mixtape “Dubstep LA” and has shared the stage with many music’s biggest names. Shiftee is a 2x DMC World Champion and member of the DMC Hall of Fame with the likes of Craze, Atrak, Qbert, and Grand Master Roc Raida. Collectively and individually, Rx & Shiftee are two rising stars in dance music.
