Anywho, this is a work in progress, mainly because while I was in progress of working on it my computer nearly crashed on me!

I totally agree on everything you said. As soon as I go buy this external so I can free up space to run all my DAW's with no glitch interruptions, I've got some serious mixing down to do with the track.ElSonido wrote:Thought I'd return the favour.
The intro reminds me of the final countdown. I kinda like it.
The drop is HUGE. I'm getting a really prominent bass which is always good. Just be sure to check the levels and keep it constant because at very low frequencies the volume difference between bass notes can be huge depending on the effects you are running and the synth you've chosen. I like the lead sound. Personally, I'd vary it a bit more. The percussion track and little accent elements are great. I would be inclined to vary the percussion track a lot more. It can be such a driving force in a track. Use it.
As for the mix, the bass levels are something I'd address first. The lead synth sounds a bit quiet. I'd raise that and lower the bass in a lot of parts. It sounds like the bass isn't glued to the lead, but the sounds are both good.
The sound overall is huge! Nice work. It's definitely got that 'now' sound and feel that seems to have taken a lot from hardcore breakdowns and is popular in clubs.
