Re: just looking for a little feedback
Then feedback you shall have! But I'll suggest posting some feedback to others. Share the love. If everyone gives, then everyone gets.
I won't criticise your mix in that case.
The crackley typewriter sound is nice, but I'd tone it down a bit, it's very loud.
One thing I notice is your melody is long and doesn't really have a rhythmic anchor. It depends if you're going for IDM or dance or just listening music but the human mind doesn't have a long attention span for complex hooks. Keep the melody shorter, more simple, and it will instantly become more catchy.
In terms of sound selection, it needs sub bass. NEEDS. Dubstep needs that meaty sub layer. The lead synth of choice could work really well given the right musical context, but this track needs a lot more elements to come together. Keep working at it and post the next iteration up!
The drums and accents could also work well given the right arrangement and sound selection. Keep at it!

As for feedback for you my good sir, i think it makes a for a good intro that could lead up to some super epic drop.
as for epic drops, i'de use massive or some other synth.
what synth are you using?

To add onto what elyhess was saying about Synths...I use Razor, I just started to get into it and I must say I get much better sub tones from Razor than I do massive. However though I get better filth dubstep wobbles from massive.
As for your tune, I would look at shortening the length of the crunkley sound because when it dropped out the sound to me really opened up and gave the melody a much better feel.
