Gemini and Adventure Club like Sounds Recreation Help

Post by Pr1malscr34m » Sun Oct 30, 2011 9:49 pm

Hey,

I have a question about some synth, basslines, whatever you want to call it that i just cannot remake.
I have some good endurance and have remade a lot of sounds to train and get a better feeling for the sound.
But i failed hard and did not even get close with these 2 sounds.
Especially Gemini sounds i find are extremly difficult but are fascinating.
So im asking for advice, you are my last hope.
Please help me, i could not find any other help in this direction on the internet, so i depend on your skill and knowlege.
Thanks much in Advance!

The Songs meant for example are:

Gemini - Graduation

Adventure Club remix form Lips - Everything to me

Btw i like you to help me recreate these even if you ahte their styles or think they are gay, i dont care i just want a result ;)

I've made a Gemini bass before and is my current style of producing.

Soundcloud

Really tricky sound to make though. I stumbled upon it by accident.
His are a bit more soft as mine are a bit more gritty on the high end, but still sidechained like so.

How I've made it. You need a High, mid and low all in Massive.
LFO on the WT-Position, Intensity, & Amp, all the way up. Take your 4th envelope and bring the attack all the way up. On your Low range put the envelope half way on WT position and Intensity. On your mid and highs Envelope on the rest pulled out halfway.

Thanks for the Quick Reply!

And thanks for the Instructions i tried them and that worked better than anything i have tested so far.
Thats definitly the right direction but as far as i can see there have to be 2 Sounds that are layerd, that can be heard in teh graduation Track at around 1:30 there is the Subpart and then gets mixed with a much more high frequenzy at 2:32.
I am especially interested in this high frequenzy cause it creates the deep emotion in the track. It's hard to hear what i sounds raw but thats quite the thing im looking for.

Still any Help is appreciated =)
