Massive album! Tbh I didn't expect much of the concept of rustie doing an album, but somehow, it comes together.
Altho recently I drifted away from these kinds of poppy overloaded sounds, this really makes my inner raver come out again.
I rate him even higher than Hudmo now, so he's def underrated now. His tunes could make some serious commercial damage.

And super neat looking vinyl edition btw!

All of these can be epic last tunes in a set :)

i was pretty ho-hum on his "sunburst" EP, but every time i listen to this album it gets better and better. i think my favourite is "surph", but basically the entire album is a master class in over-the-top emotional crunk rave.
The Plc Soundcloud
Feedback appreciated.

If you listened to Rustie's Songs of Summer Mix i'm guessing you heard Harvey Kartel's "Say Yes".

He just put out a sick little mixtape, you should definitely check it out.

If this is the future, it seems highly livable: shiny, cool and comfortably dissonant. Like a low dose of ketamine in an empty, luminous airport hall in northern Japan, eating avocado and waiting for the universe to arrive.

Bumping this because his essential mix is on right now, its been sick so far. Standard Hud Mo dubplates and Rick Ro$$ business

Yeah its incredible so far. The demo of all nite was okay.. wish he'd mixed it into the original, my favourite song off the album atm.

Rustie has to be influenced from old nintendo music!

He has a million samples from Zelda (even in Glass swords) and theres quite a few super mario bros ones in the mix last night aswell. I may have imgained it as it was late/I was tired but im sure i heard F-Zero in there aswell :corndance:
