So I adopted a rescue pup last week

Post by pkay » Fri Oct 28, 2011 3:28 am

Went to an event held by an animal shelter and came accross this pimp bastard and picked him up..... I adopted an 18 month old boston terrier (full bred) named him Corgan.

They think he was abused... i don't think he was. I think he was lost or something and was just traumatized. Anywho he wasn't adopted for 3 months and was on the 'kill' list because he was not kid friendly. He would bite at them and growl turning off anyone with little ones from adopting him.

So seeing as how he was set to be killed I adopted him and it was a brilliant decision. He's a very healthy, very sturdy, gorgeous, pure bred, lady killin, pimp.

Dude is already house trained... when he wants out he stares at the leash.... doesn't beg for food... when you eat he goes and eats his stuff...

anywho... i present you

Pimp Corgan

on his name: Corgan

He's named Corgan. When I was young I was a big smashing pumpkins fan and wanted a dog named Corgan after Billy Corgan. For the past 10 years or so i could give a shit about the pumpkins so lost the desire to take myself up on the Corgan/dog naming.

I dated a chick for about 5 years and we had 2 bostons with rather poshy names. Oliver and Prescott.... both sound like 23 year old investment banking students from the hamptons. I loved the idea of kind of posh snobby names for boston terriers as they look like little dogs in business suits with their markings and all:P.

So anywho, long story long, the name Corgan kinda fit and thus he got the name Corgan

Nothing wrong with the Hamptons. :a:
Plenty of well kept ladies roaming around those parts.

Ugly dog BTW.

Used to have a rescue dog.
Apparently he had been left to rot, trapped in a cage. When we got him he was constantly shaking and most of his teeth and nails were missing because he had tried to claw his way out. He was the nicest dog you could ask for, after we'd got him settled in after a few months he was incredibly chilled and wouldn't hurt a fly. Unfortunately he died just a month ago but we like to think we gave him a nice send off, anythings better than being stuck in a dog shelter.
