Yeah, Burnside in Portland Oregon in the pics above is probably what you saw in that video game. The original Cascadia renegade skatepark and pretty much the catalyst for the whole Northwest skatepark revolution.

I skate Marginal Way all the time it. Just a few years ago it used to be a hangout for crack heads under a bridge. Then they made this:

The trannies were fucked but now it's actually starting to get really nice. It's gonna be so fun when it's totally done. They're about to pour a new bowl soon.

I've been to Burnside a few times too. It's sick.It's crazy on halloween.

I'm probably one of the few (maybe many, I don't know) who dive in a self-taught "hobby" and stop doing it when I've learned the very BASIC skill. We're talking, a year or two before I pick it up again.
- scratching/mixing/juggling (needs work)
- crochet/knit/sewing machine (good enough)
- hand sewing (better)
- bass guitar/acoustic guitar (needs work)
- keyboard (needs work)
- Wacom tablet/MS paint/any type of painting/sketching/drawing (check the MS paint thread, needs work)
- photoshop/illustrator (helped roommate, got paid, good)
- digital photography (good)
- film photography e.g. 120, 35, 110, E-6 (very good)
- jewelry/accessory making/felting (good enough)
- button making (doesn't need skills, you just need a button maker/kit and maybe photoshop skills)
- screen printing (homemade, needs work)

Non-skilled hobbies:
- music. music. music. digging (45s and old records). dancing. karaoke.
- reading (hard copy or online)
- thrift store!!! (for music, books, and clothes)
- writing (I own too many journals)
- making stuff for people I love
- museums every Tuesdays and third Thursdays (free)
- play/musical of SD junior theater or ballet of SD junior ballet
- hot debauchery with my girls + foods + alcoholic beverages + craft making
- trying/making different foods (there's an inner chef in me waiting to break out)
- seasonal sports (boogie board/snowboard/longboard)
- some sativa, sometimes indica
- snh

- or just be lazy (personal fave is at the beach - umbrella, mat, blanket, music, sleep, sometimes book x every weekend)
