Re: Does anyone still like Rusko
I think he's a fucking wicked producer, who's really good at what he does. Theres just loads of wanky ppl that r stuck up n think that if its not dark or your average dubstep sound, then its not "cool". He's turned the dubstep scene upside down, and given it a wicked energy! Top Man!
Thats my tuppence worth!

Re: Does anyone still like Rusko
i jumped on the hate bandwagon before seeing his tutorial. I didn't find his tutorial usefull for my self as Im allready well into my producing, but I just appreciate his tunes now cause it seems like he's just doing it for his own fun and that's what it's all about really. seems like a sound guy and he's got the ear for it. I haven't heard his new stuff though.

Rusko and Caspa to me are like the RunDMC of dubstep because they pioneered a new sound in the genre but even though the standard sound has grown far past what they've started you can always expect their signature sound whenever you hear them.
In other words I don't think you'll ever hear Rusko nor Caspa ever start trying to achieve the level of filth that Skrillex, Datsik, Excision, or even Adroa, Ajapai, or Mark Instinct produces, just like you'll never hear RunDMC trying to rhyme as sharp as Eminem, Jay-Z, Nas, or Aesop Rock...
Also feel the same about Mala and Coki...

I wasn't really feeling his last album, but his last EP was pretty dope; that same old rusko vibe. although apparently he used to make dnb way back in the early 2000s, I haven't heard any of it. But yeah his new new stuff is super duper dope; saw him this summer at red rock! the track of his feat cypress hill (we came here to get you high) goes HAM (shoot me please for saying ham). I also think he's been doing a lot of producing, like cypress hill's whole new album for instance.
