I'm looking to get a new laptop primarily for music production/recording but also for a bit of gaming ect but I'm not really sure what specifications are important for music production (I use ableton and reason if that helps at all) I know obviously processer/ram are going to be important but how important is the soundcard in terms of performance and stability.
I have my eye on this laptop: http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/hp-envy-1 ... 7-pdt.html would this be good for the price? I'm open to any other suggestions around that price range also.

It does indeed look insane but i cant even find a UK retailer to find out how much out of the price range it is XD
