Had to witness what was my best friend, senior year of high school, accidentally get his head run over by an SUV being driven by one of my other friends. Died in the parking lot. Miss u.... <3

he jumped on the side step with his hands holding onto the window and my friend peeled out and then pumped the brakes a bit and he lost his grip of the car and fell in the worst possible way...

im pretty glad schoolkids in this country cant drive cars, things like this would be common place if they did.

i have once seen a junky who was OD. probably dead. his heartrate was almost 0 and when the ambulance arrived i gave my infos and went away as i didn't want watch it...

death goes beyond a humans imagination or understanding. some are able to handle it better than others - i think i can't really handle death. i am since years scared that my dad will pass away because he has heart problems... and always when it gets worse and he has to go to hospital my thoughts drive me insane...

Seen a guy get crushed by two busses about 3 meters in front of me on oxford road in manchester a few years ago, a junkie lying dead in the street after a heart attack and seen a guy get stabbed to death at the bottom of some flats I used to live in. Seeing things such as these changed my opinion on life and death and I've always had a very very morbid mind.

there's a wind tunnel next to where i work and earlier this year i saw a lorry get blown over by the wind and fall on top of 2 people right infront of me. 1 person got crushed to death and the other just survived.

Never seen anyone die in real life I don't think, but found my Grandmother... I'd sort of steeled myself for what I was about to see because I'd already had to break down her front door. Nasty. A very distinct smell, too. I've only ever smelt it around dead animals. Horrid.

The closest I've come to witnessing death was following a link from a forum to the Nick Berg beheading video a few years ago... that was more than enough for me. I can understand how people get desenitised to that shit, but I find it hard to work out why people would repeatedly seek videos like that out. I actually still feel a little bit icky for watching it myself... spying on a man's last moments as he's brutally murdered, probably whilst casually sipping a drink or chatting to mates... it really seems pretty fucking low.

My sister is a cadet nurse and being the youngest on her ward she always has to wait with people as they die and write down the exact time of death. Quite serious and morbid for someone thats only 17.

@therapist I dont know, my friend told me about thatsphucked because of some video with a fat girl and i kinda just browsed the site. I found some videos where people were actually dying and almost became fixated on it. I think it was probably because of the taboo of it, you know. You can't just search youtube "guy dying" and get legitimate results and that enticed me. The only things that i ever really got "moved" by are pretty much any videos of humans killing defenseless animals and (shamed to admit i have even seen this) a picture of a hand strangling a full grown baby. It was obviously dead and his-her's complexion was purple and the lips an even darker shade.

@SubLime i'm so sorry. i can't imagine having to make that hard of a decision. i think people take their loved ones for granted way too much, nowadays.

and Electric_Head, that must've been awful. i thought there was going to be a happy ending where you took him to the hospital and it was just a close call, but...

also, Hypefiend, were you joking with that troll picture? 'cause i wouldn't troll this forum and of all of the threads, this would be the last one that i would mock

also, my grandma currently has Alzheimer's disease. it's pretty sad to hear her forget my mother's name or just how to perform basic day-to-day tasks, although i've haven't seen her since she's been diagnosed 'cause she lives in Florida. she's perfectly healthy, which makes it more...depressing,

also, like wolf, my friend when he was in about 4th grade i think, came home to find his sick mom lifeless. i still can't fathom how he must've felt

Trust me death and dead bodies are a lot harder to stomach in real life than on a website. That statement just makes you sound like stupid child to be fair.

Sorry if it came out as "im a badass because i watch people die online and therefore i can handle it real life" heh. If you were referring to the general statement that i've have seen a lot of gruesome things on the internet, then yes, fairplay. I actually would have a pretty hard time handling death in real life. I mainly am just not too fond of blood.
