I got a new one that happened last night

Was playing about with some ravey noises using a volume gate, and all of a sudden the noises were not in time with the beat. Now FL Studios plug in delay compensation has shit itself in the past on a previous track, so I turned it off, which made it worse. i then started turning effects off to see which the culprit was, then played about with PDC again. After ALOT of swearing at the PDC and how shit it is, i found out that Gross beat that i was using for the volume gate was set to an "off beat" preset FFS.

Although I would like to think there is a difference between kids who make dubstep to "get bitches" and because they wanna get famous....
And kids who like making tracks for hobby and creativity.... I dunno either way I was sour for a bit after that.

I was mixing down a tune this one time and no matter what I did I couldnt get rid of this really annoying hissing sound. It was constant, even when the tune wasnt playing, so I thought it was something to do with the monitors.

I unplugged them, tried new cables, cleaned the plugs, adjusted the soundcard settings, took the back off and cleaned all the connectors.

Nothing worked. The hissing was still there. I collapsed back in my chair, totally beaten, thats when my eyes settled on my bottle of coke sat on my desk, with the lid open juuuuuuust a tiny bit allowing a little bit of gas to escape...... It was at that moment that I realised where the hissing was coming from. I have never felt so fucking stupid in my entire life.

Decided to make my first jungle tune. Spent a shitload of hours just to get the drums and all the fills right. Sent a bit of the intro and drop to a mate who runs a club and djs regularly. He really liked it and said he would play it out when I had finished it.
The next day I opened up the project and decided to make a techno tune with the same samples and elements. Created some new stuff from the old loops, saved it and turned of the laptop. A few hours later when I wanted to continue on the jungle tune I noticed I had saved the techno track with the same name, overwriting the first tune. Still think he's waiting for it, haha.
