i thought it was really good. shot nicely, good script, well acted. all round very good. hope to see more of the same.

liked the way that they didnt end it in the predictable way, too.

That Lee dude was quite an accurate/convincing character I feel. I find that people on the street these days feel its fine to do whatever they want to whoever they want.....however as soon something gets done to them its all about retalliation and respect etc etc. Got what he deserved.

Do wonder how they found where his dog was those, as I dont think that girl would have told anybody, and they obvs didnt know where that place was as they'd have gone back there when they were trying to find him.

Also a person on FB stated that all the action etc was happenening over about 2-3weeks. Yet theyve pretty much got a crop of weed to harvest?!?
Yeah timeframe is a bit off.

Still no feds to be seen anywhere as well...
It takes place over a month or two - they say this when mumsy is in the hospital, also the pregnancy and crop are tools to show passin of time..

The police pass thru once really but this plays in with how the white boss talks about needing to 'feed the beast' every now and then. The dynamic of the series wld have changed a lot if police were in every other scene, it makes the characters and action more adrift and unaccountable w/o police

This series was up there. I wldnt be surprised if they did a follow up. On 4oD is it already called 'series 1, episode 1-4' haha ;-)

Kano was really good (as was whole cast) - he did well by not 'over-acting' it, which is always the biggest risk with this type of stuff. Some scenes between him and Asher had real credibility and honesty (final scene between them at his babymama's for example)

It was funny when Scorcher was gettin dun up and Kano was "it's gona get peak for you" haha- then getting the third guy with the mohawk to shoot him- that was real. U can tell the writer(s) had done their homework. Also the way Asher meets his dad and tells Kano it was 'no-one' jus slipped in. The mohawk guy punching the teacher. So many sick details made it imo

Only problem I had was when AsherDD off'd that boss guy with no repercussions and then just started doing business with the Irish guy at the end. Really AsherD would be dead, that guy would of told his minders where he was going or better yet had them with him when meeting AsherD. But it was a closer representation of street life than most shit on TV.
