Dubsteppers in Long Island, New York??

What's up everybody - I'm from the East End of Long Island and I'm trying to hook up with some DJs/Producers that are on LI. I'm also looking for dubstep nights that take place anywhere on the Island. I DJ at a local bar in my town every Wednesday and play dubstep, drum & bass, and instrumental hip hop. The place is small and has an alright speaker setup but my town has no scene or venue to hear dubstep so I'm pretty happy that I've got this night to try and spread dubstep to more people. hey buddy, i would be totally down, but don't fully focus on only dubstep. i mean, don't get me wrong
i make a lot of dubstep, but i experiment a bit. i've been really diggin' around trying to find where
i can actually play live or if there's even a scene for it. Who knows maybe we'll get it
fired up over here rather than Cali. I'm about 2 hours west of you though. But, i'm serious enough
to make the hike if we do end up doing something.

Yea I play regularly at this underground place called the bassment, it's really small, like the size of my bedroom, usually I just end up sleeping there it gets that crazy, and 100% of the people in there have a great time.

i'm from jersey, so...not long island...but closer than england? right? haha. don't have any experience playing out or anything, but i also use logic if you're ever looking to collaborate with someone from the tri-state.

Maybe bumping this old thread will bring some new heads in...and some of the old ones too...anyway, I'm a dubstep producer/dj looking for people to start a bass night here on the island- something similar to what's going on at bar 13 in NYC. (dubday Monday) get back to me guys. I have a place lined up that is interested but open to checking other places out
