Progression so far - update from last year.

Post by notjack » Sun Nov 13, 2011 5:19 pm

Started mixing last year (thread last year turned into a big argument) just thought I'd update with how I was doing, recorded this mix this morning.

Soundcloud

Listening back now I'm still a bit rusty in certain places, but would LOVE constructive feedback.

(Edit: forgot to say there was a period of time where I wasn't mixing I've only just got back into it last month or so, due to personal/money reasons and some blown up equipment)

I know a lot of you here are into your deeper dmz style dubstep, I've included quite a few of that but do have more upbeat "brostep" as you may call it too, hope you can look past personal taste and give me some pointers.

Thanks :)

PS fuck skrillex

Hmm probably, I added that part as I mentioned brostep and didn't want people to come read the thread and then think they have to endure some mix with skrillex-like songs the whole way through and then not listen to the mix.

Probably backfired a bit though.
