Following up his recent collab single on Slit Jockey ("Off In A Minute" with Thrills and Skamma) and the 'Street Bass Bootlegs' mixtape on Seclusiasis, Dev79 is back with a monster of a remix EP for his grime track 'Get 2 Know' featuring London's Ruff Sqwad member, Slix on the mic!

On this track, Philadelphia producer/DJ Dev79 twists out a forward thinking grime beat with nods toward garage and street bass. An og of the bass scene, Dev79 has done remixes for +Verb, Starkey, Raffertie, DZ, BD1982, Mestizo, Dmn Days and has been featured in XLR8R, Mishka, FACT, Frank151, Trash Menagerie, and Discobelle. He has an upcoming EP on Made In Glitch and a collab EP with Thrills on Slit Jockey.

East London native MC, Slix, has been in the grime game since the early years as a founding member of Ruff Sqwad (who's members also include Tinchy Stryder, Dirty Danger, Rapid and more). He's released numerous solo and group mixtapes and singles as well as featuring on tracks with Ghetts, Skepta, Trim and Scorcher.

The remix lineup is straight bonkers, from the thick n' dirty synths of Starkey's remix to the lush vibes of Gladkill to the anthemic boom of Clicks & Whistles and the storming energy of J-Sweet's take. Every track is an ace. Slit Jockey has always been pushing boundaries and this release is no exception. You get to hear grime crossing with genres its rarely mixed with, on Skinny Friedman's excellent moombahton version and the frantic juke of Slick Shoota!
