Who is down to trade w.i.p over aim?

Post by ogunslinger » Wed Nov 16, 2011 4:59 am

Hey all, I've been looking for some chill people to trade w.i.p's with over aim and help each other out on each others productions and I haven't really seemed to find any luck yet except for a select few cool people! Maybe I'm just having bad luck finding the right people but so far my luck has been not so great, example. (kinda like, I give some insightful feedback on their tune & somehow after getting their feedback they kinda just write me off and ignore me and don't even take time to review my tune at all + alllllll the excuses on top of that. Haha pretty rude if you ask me! (couple people from here actually)

Anyways I guess the point of this post is... if your down to trade w.i.p's and help each other out (mutually) that would be awesome. My AIM is ontheblueline@gmail.com (feel free to shoot me tunes for feedback at anytime or even questions, and all that I ask is that if I happen to have a request for some feedback on one of my tunes... please just don't ignore me because that sucks! If you don't have the time thats completely understandable, I know that schedules can get really crazy (like mine) but blatantly ignoring someone after they gave you some pretty good feedback in my opinion is pretty rude. :/

I'll be looking forward to connecting with some chill people, and for styles honestly I like several types of electronic music so feel free to send me whatever genre you want, no biggie.

Would be quite nice if you let us hear some of your music so we can decide if we are going for the same style... ??

I've found you don't need feedback from every head on the internet, just close peers.

My english teacher gave me a weird look when I mentioned that as the musical instrument I played. Like the wtf stare. I had to give her the 'wiki wiki' dj motion to confirm what i meant.

sure add me, I'm always up for some track sending and listening for feedback, not to mention a bit of lonely production talk.

I completely agree with you on that 100%. and as of now my IM buddy list is pretty minimal at most. But slowly but surely began to realize that a majority of them really only care about their tune & themselves, and once you give them some insightful feedback, they completely ignore you and your tunes! So selfish lol! anyways, just ended up just blocking them stnuc altogether! :)

Fairly new to the producing realm. Only been going about a year and a half.
