Missed it the first time and now you get the re-up and still whinging. Beyond me. More power to the artists and the label, this release is massive.
I make music as Forsaken, you can DL all my unreleased (and a couple released) bits here.

ffs, for guys that come across as so humble in light of their success, it really bother's me that they're playing this game.

and please, e-crusaders, dont pull the "wa wa they're artists and have the right to distribute their music in any way they please"

i fucking want this record and will pay good money for it, just give me the damn opportunity to do so.
I always hesitate on moaning about the artist, because how much of the price issue is set by the shop? I was looking for a record the other day, and there was a £4 difference between shops, with a different price in every one.

It's exclusivity, if you press 3000 at £4 or 1000 at £12 you earn the same money, but you spend less on manufacturing and distribution and 100% guaranteed sales within a short period of time. You also keep exclusivity and get more profit.

Profit would be way less selling 1000 at £12 as it'd be a truckload cheaper per unit to press 3000 than 1000.

Kinda all besides the point though. Who said they needed to repress in the first place? AND we have no idea how many are being pressed anyway, people are getting their knickers in a twist far to quickly over this. I bet everyone who really wants it ends up getting it if they have their shit together.

It's like they can't win though, when the Burial/Four Tet/Thom Yorke 12'' got repressed a billion times people were moaning, if it's only a small repress, people (probably the same people) are moaning.

I don't know how much pressing is reduced by if you press in bulk so that's why I just assumed the same. Also it is the point really, I don't think they should have repressed but they did and i'm just saying it makes sense to sell less at a higher price

that post was definitely partially a temper-tantrum. the logic is sound why they'd only press that many.

oh well. i guess i'll just hope and wait for another copy...

Thanks for the head up. Got an original press, but always been really wary of putting it on the decks. I know it's the whole point to listen to the music blah blah blah, but always get really nervy around Moth/Wolf Cub haha.

Edit: What a week for represses. Saved my self bare $$$ by copping a repress of Battle For Middle You too. Was so close to sinking 30 odd doubloons on that on Discogs.

Well I'm just not taking any chances haha. You know how quick things go with Burial.
Been waiting years to get a copy of this.

Also glad that I didn't cop one from Bleep yesterday, it only cost me just over 7 quid on Redeye.

...are you sure? It cost me close to £10 after tax on the vinyl, shipping and tax on the shipping.

@ GBP 5.82 each (+ 20% Tax)

Order Value (Ex Tax) = GBP 5.82
Tax = GBP 1.16

Shipping = GBP 2.00
Shipping Tax = GBP 0.40

Total (Inc VAT) = GBP 9.38

it cost me 10 boys as well. I hate how vinyl prices increase like bus fares. Very slowly creeping up until you suddenly realize you're paying for one vinyl the amount you could've got two for a couple years ago lol...shame really, but i understand why that is

Well I chose to hold it in reserve so I didn't pay shipping yet, but including tax the vinyl itself is 7 quid on Redeye, while it was 12 on Bleep.
But who cares really? Would've happily paid 12 quid for it as well. But saving some money is always good of course ;)

This also. Just a little sad I bought Battle For Middle You yesterday on Redeye and now have to pay double postage.

Battered my credit card on vinyl this week. A week before payday is not the time for this.
