How does he achieve such a crisp snappy sound? What are some techniques with compressors, EQ's, and reverbs that can be used to achieve a snappy large sound.
Soundcloud
Im currently working on a dubstep project that is outside my usual realm and I cant for the life of me get this sort of snappy bite on my claps and or snares.
If you could shed any light on this subject to get me moving in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it. Haven't posted in a while, so thank you for the responses.
What techniques compression/eq/verb are used on this clap?
