Task always makes me laugh...those shows with Youngsta and Task with whoever else used to be in the studio always had some amusing moments in...
Don't know whether thats a sign of quality or not though...

interesting question given the position of the mc in dubstep as host, rather than protagonist, as in grime. now we are getting more and more mcs dropping bars over dubstep it gets more complicated. jammer sounded great doing his thing last week in his own way, but it makes the music secondary.
stopgap mcing, traditional stylee, the best listener-motivator for me has to be crazy d.

Yeah, it lets the music breath...the odd bit here and there makes it work...What good d&b MC'ing used to be like...always a fan of Krust and Dynamite, he added to the music, not detracted from it like sooo many MC's.blacklay wrote:there's something about task "hosting" a show that just fits. WHO'S FEELING!! crazy d is the god father, jammer sounded really good over on youngst last week.
i think it's nice that dubstep mcs are secondary to the music.
Is that Jammer and Youngsta set about? Was it on the FWD>> show with Kode9 last week?
Yeah man, I could do with hearing this, anyone got links or mp3's?Zefa wrote: Is that Jammer and Youngsta set about? Was it on the FWD>> show with Kode9 last week?

Actually i prefer Dubstep with any MC. When MCing u dont/cant listen to the music anymore. All the little instrumentals fade away, because the MC is to loud. But i do like MCs. I also listen to DnB and love the MCs, spitting on a heavy track. If i have to choose it would be Crazy D. He laidback and spits very gentle. I like that kind of MCing its a perfect flow for the Dubstep sound. Its all about the sound at the end....
Wobble Wobble...
i agree with Capsule!!!
i don't like it that much when i hear a MC "screaming" over a Dubstep tune
okay, some Dubstep tunes are good for possible Mc-ing, but don't scream like God's Gift or B-Live, 2 name a few
when i hear a tune i want 2 listen 2 da music, the vibe
he can talk a little bit, or give some shout outs, but not (real) spittin get me
except when his voice and flow are good enough 2 spit on Dubstep
