Is that public or private school.. I know at mine, you can have you headphones in during class (depending on the teacher) and they wont say shit. But I feel your pain at my middle school we had to drop our cellphones off in the office

I actually hate my generation because of its dependency on technology. I mean, I definitely hate not having my ipod because listening to music helps me concentrate and just generally helps me through the day (yes, yes, hypocritical, i know) I just hate the dependencies on phones and facebook, etc. like you mentioned. I mean, you really don't have to post facebook statuses about who you're talking to at the moment during a school day I don't care about having my phone, I only use that for prompt, informative calls/texts. I just like to be able to listen to music (doesnt have to be on an ipod, either lol.), although it's not necessary obviously.
