G1-3 - Mind's Eye (Deep/Minimal) F4F

Post by overture » Mon Nov 21, 2011 4:27 pm

Hey guys, here's a track i've been working on for the past few days. This is only the rough mix but i'd like to know what you think, what you like/don't like about it and what i could add/remove to improve the track. I will be returning feedback to people who leave me a link to their thread.

Soundcloud

Also if anyone knows of any labels that may want to pick this one up, please let me know! But if not then i will hand out 320s to anyone who asks for one :).

Enjoy!

good unconventional strings. the intro is too long though. sorta anticlimatic. the biuld is generic to me.

Thanks for the feedback, yeah i kinda thought the intro was abit long but i wanted that little break before it drops, and yeah i'm not that great at intros it's usually the last thing i do and gets rushed so i will definatly work on that. Gonna check yours out now.

this is beautiful man, the subbass is wicked powerful, and your drums sound so clean.. i'd say develop the intro some more like mimosa had said.

sounds great... pretty chillin'/vibin' > i reckon the ambiance should be kept to a minimum during the verses and kept for the build-ups to the drop. maybe a darker/deeper synth would be cool? sounds pretty solid though still. big!
