Ipod broke
hsbc charged me £250 for going into overdraft
had to ride the tube for like 2.5 hours this evening

Wow.......thats a serious charge for going over your overdraft. I get an initial £20 charge, and then another £20 for every additional transaction.

Nationwide aint too shabby.

Yeah, but £250 is what, the initial fee then 12 uses of the card? Can easily use your debit card 12 times in the space of a couple of days before the letter from the bank turns up.

No chance......If neccessary id just withdraw £100 and see me through or borrow money off a mate. Most ive ever done is £40.

Yeah, but if you're using the card and not thinking, like to buy a pint of milk, coffee on the way home, top up your Oyster etc etc...little transactions that cost fuck that you do without even thinking about it.

yeah exactly, i dont keep a tab of my bank balance - and it was only one transaction. banks shouldnt let people use money that they dont have - id rather have my card declining than be £250 outta pocket. pretty much gonna say give me that back or im leaving your shitty arse bank
