Returning from his 2011 Asia tour, Demonslayer will be making his debut at BrokenBeat Night along with a special guest appearance by eLAN (Monkeytown Records) !

We also are super excited to welcome back one of the true pioneers of the SD electrionic scene- Irwin . Irwin has been performing live electronic since the mid 90s and the last few years even got involved in the LA file scene making cameos in HBO's hit series - Tru Blood !

Not much left to be said about our boys Eddie Turbo and Prince Zohar. If you've been involved in the SD scene then you know these tru headz are legends. The dancefloor will be sweaty

Opening up the night will be your boy WalkNasty emerging from behind the curtain for a rare performance on this special night.

Best not sleep... Get there early cause dancefloor space will be limited !

Who is Irwin?
Irwin is one of the originators of the 'Live Electronic' scene here in San Diego. Since 1996, he has performed as 'Irwins Conspiracy' using a unique combination of theremin, live drumming and laptop to create an all-original, spontaneous, intriguing performance that spans the globe from drum n bass to left-field electronic to dubstep. Irwin has performed at venues such as Hollywood Bowl alongside the Los Angeles Philharmonic and has been booked to play venues all over the world. Before venturing into the world of electronic music he was in the legendary Greyboy AllStars. Not only has Irwin but deep in the world of music, but over the last few years has made cameo appearances on HBO's hit TV show Tru Blood drumming vampires into a vampire orgy !!!!(but has not watched any episodes nor does he own a tv)

Irwin is a long time BrokenBeat co-conspirator and we are excited to have him back for a rare (these days) Live Electronic peformance at kadan

Demon Slayer is the creative identity of Dan Nguyen, art director, designer, artist, producer and DJ from Southern California who has been making music since 1999, in addition to making art since he was a small child.

Demon Slayer has shared the stage with Daedelus, Stevo Aoki, the Gaslamp Killer, Villians, D-Styles, Tokimonsta and many other internationally recognized performance artists. Currently on tour in Asia until November 2011.

Nguyen has had art exhibitions with Barry McGee, Raymond Pettibon, the Clayton Brothers and Jeff Soto along with other world renown visual artists.Dan has held exhibitions and painted permanent murals in Los Angeles, Shanghai, Panama, Beijing, Mexico, Canada, Indonesia, New York, Vietnam, Japan and Costa Rica.
