1.the door staff at the thekla. proper bunch of twats! my mates said to watch out and get there by 11 latest to get in for free - so we did. they were literally letting 1 person in every 2 minutes or so, until 11.30 when it became £5 to get in. no problem we thought, at least we can get in and get a drink etc, but oh no, they then let 1 person a minute in until it gets to 12 and its £7 to get in. then they let us in and my mate kicks up a bit of a stink, one of the bouncers tells him to shut his mouth or he'll get chucked out and keeps saying "what you gonna do about it anyway, pay your money or fuck off". totally ridiculous. when we do get paid and get in its fucking dead. whats the point of advertising free guestlist before 11.30 if you're not gonna let anyone in on it?!
2. after spending the remainder of the weekend in bristol and getting back to notts the sense of disappointment that notts is really a bit shit and i'd much rather live in bristol but that cant happen for at least another 8 months...
