First Dubstep Track

Post by afedor » Thu Dec 01, 2011 8:03 pm

So over the last few months I've really gotten into electronic music and dubstep. I've been recording rock music for a while now but I figured I'd give making dubstep a shot. So here is my first attempt at dubstep. I'd really appreciate any feedback, suggestions on how to make it better, what to fix, tips, and so on and so forth. Thanks for looking, here is the video.

For a first song, i'd say that is really good.
I like the melodies and the drop, but i think the bass has far too much distortion.

And in the end, the video continue after the song ended, but you propably noticed that :)

Thanks for the reply, I wanted the bass to sound grindy and fat but after listening to other tracks by dubstep artists after it did sound a bit fuzzy. I wanted to make it heavy sounding but Im sure how to go about that without a ton of distortion. And yeah, I know the video is a little longer, I'm just lazy lol
