Slime returns to the fray with another super fresh debut courtesy of the incredibly talented Powder Hill. Extrapolating ambient sounds across a variety of styles, he provides a listening experience at once cinematic and intimate, widescreen but wholly personal. 'Aenda' rolls in like the vast haze of sunrise across a shimmering lake, glittering melodies submerged in a melancholy polyrhythm. A female vocal swirls slowly in the morass as heavenly chords spiral up your spine and hit your synapses with lazer-guided precision.
'Wisp' is the sound of a relaxation chamber being dropped into the pacific ocean. Sublime vibes abound with a horizontal breakbeat pattern flirting inbetween sunset keys and twilight melodies.
'Are You There' switches things up several gears with a liquid D&B throwdown but loses nothing of the ambient textures of the previous offerings. Dissected vocals intertwine the intricate beat with a sense of beautiful purpose.
