Re: DSF SAMPLE PACK COMPETITION - 33
Well done wub,i would of probably needed to start the whole track again.I like the pack good selection of samples.I have pretty much finished mine just working on the second part, going with a chill tune this time as they always seem to do well in these comps.Trying something different too this time, working out of my comfort zone which has been interesting so looking forward to the take on it .Looking really forward to the comp and hearing all the entry's.

Samples are very nice.
Lack of 808 tom is so frustrating though.

Re: DSF SAMPLE PACK COMPETITION - 33
Upon working with the samples, I was tempted to make a gabber track
but...I think I'll go with something more subdued. Will my track stand a better chance if I use all of the samples in some way or do people usually just vote for what sounds good disregarding the sample usage?

pretty much all about track quality, no one considers the samples come poll time.

Never made an 808 track before. Depending on how many classes I drop, I'll probably have time to whip summin up before the 7th.

Nah mate it presents a challenge!um4mi wrote:sorry about the 808 Tom not being in there i should have included it
Whole point of this thing is working with what you have.
The lack of a tom encourages other creative solutions.

I need to get started... Currently in the slow process of cleaning out my room and turning it into a little mini studio in the hopes that when I'm done with that I'll work on this and make the best track ever. So until that gets done I ain't startin, hopefully I'll finish things up tonight, I'm such a lazy jobless twat thank god my parents haven't kicked me out yet
