Yeah I steered away from most sports and fighting games on PSone. I played FIFA 99 and NHL 99 but that was about it I think.
As far as fighting games go: the essential ones have been mentioned. I'll add this though:

Guilty Gear
Gundam Battle Assault (1/2)

Those were two Japanese fighting titles I thoroughly enjoyed.

nah i was definitely into that as a kid.. unlocked the demo version when i was replaying crash bandicoot 3 recently and gave it a quick whirl... controls & spyro's voice were more frustrating than I had recalled

Mate, CTR is the one! Mustve spent a good 100+ hours on that as a kid. I literally did everything there was to do.

Rayman was good up until the levels with the trumpets, fuck that game was hard.

Did anyone have the original Medal of Honour?
