too many disambiguations with edm that can be made for it to be common production term in reference to edm, warp the label for starters

I know exactly what you mean.
It's kinda soft sound that open's up gradually.

On NI Massive...
There's that LFO shape that is a saw wave right?
Use that instead of a sine wave LFO shape.
If when you apply it, it sounds like a fast attack bass, drag the curve on your cut-off knob the other way.

Dunno if that's making much sense haha... I doubt it.
I'll lay up a preset when I get back from college and you can just copy what I've done with the LFO and apply it to a decent bassline sound.

Can't wait to hear what you make with it. :]

if your talking about the warp 1.9 bass, use a couple detuned saws and put an envelope on the pitch so that itll pretty quicky rise an octace and then more slowly come back down
