I learned to make a decent enough french onion soup in culinary school.

IMHO, it's all about the thickness of the onion slices

festa knows! its all about the thick onion slices. oh, and ana, joe, that might be a good enough reason for me to actually head up to LA! we should all go out for french onion soup :D
