Dubstep itself is fairly progressive because it is progressing from grime and also jungle and dub. Wait 'till it gets more established before trying to be progressive else you fall into the pretentious category.

Boxcutter - level of musicality, production and pure what-the-fuckness.
Kode 9 as he seems the least copiable, always moving in new directions

Yeah am agreeing with the skream, can't conceive the amount of tracks and varied style this man must have just held back, always some new shit coming out.

Just about everyone is progressing at the moment. That's the beauty of this thing, everyone is still searching and experimenting and it hasn't started fragmenting into different camps who get stuck in a rut.... yet.
