It's where people go to escape a lot of the terrible shit that gets posted in general discussion. Having said that there are also decent threads in general discussion but you will typically facepalm less browsing in the SNH because it's not about dubstep.

Most people who post the crap never get past general discussion to see there are other forums. It has been suggested that a post limit should be required to post here but I think the admins think that's a bit OTT. By the time people post in SNH they tend to have been at least lurking long enough to get the general vibe and what posts would lead to shitstorms.
