I have plenty of respect for Skrillex, but this tune just sounds like all of his other stuff in my opinion. And there's plenty of reasonable guys here but you're not going to make any friends by feeding into the negativity. Be easy my friend.

whatever about his "production skills," he's a twit, whinging about "flying in from Europe" and having not slept for 24 hours?? he also seems oblivious to the fact that the guy was offering a beer, not "throwing a beer" at him. How many metal/hardcore/thrash gigs has this guy been to? none, obviously.

That's the first time I've seen anything from a skrillex show/set/gig/whatever, and that looks like my idea of hell. What is with the constant "WOOOO"s man? Why would you even pay to go and see somebody you don't like just to throw stuff? LOL at Skrillex saying "I have a bruise on my rib now". Hahahahahaha.

This thread needs less words and more images. Page 1 was win and its all gone down hill from there.
Also that video a couple of posts above this is pathetic. What a whingey bitch (nothing to do with the music he is making I'd say that about anyone acting like that on stage)

i reckon its an attempt at sparing the other threads from his mentions
doubt it will work

Gotta be worth a try. Getting tiresome having the same people go over the same arguments in every thread.
I make music as Forsaken, you can DL all my unreleased (and a couple released) bits here.

Point is, I dont think just making music you love will necessarily get you noticed. From my understanding, you really have to push it on people, and even then it may not be the new fresh thing, and could amount to nothing.
I try to make lots of different types of music, and I would never try to make a song that I didn't like just so I could get signed/get big. This attitude may end up with me NOT getting signed, at which point, fuck it I'll try to make a living off of DJing and make music in my free time.
Anyways what I am saying is that the whole idea that "if you make music you love you'll get noticed" is false, IMO.

Bad motivation....
