I'm sure they take comfort in their filicidal father's poeticism.

I attended two abortions and two births
& have used every legal, scientific form of contraception.
Definitively, an abortion is a form of birth control.

Not that I want to get into the killing babies thing if that's where you are headed,
cos, here, in Oz, it is considered an inalienable choice for women
which is how it should be imo.
If you believe otherwise, may I suggest that we avoid argument on here
and accept that we have different opinions on the matter.

fair play to your own views on "women's health" - but having five unplanned pregnancies ... that's pretty wild, especially if you say you're using multiple contraceptives. you know you can't turn the condom inside out and reuse it right?

All of you have some great points. My own lack of trying for a child has to do with the economy more than anything else. I mean, I grew up poor white trash, and my parents didn't really want anything great for me. They want, and expect, me to continue this line of fuck-ups for some reason. Of course I consider myself to be sort of a rare gem in the gene pool, especially since I'm the last male to carry the family name, which carries a heavy burden in its own rite. Additionally, I've been terrible at finding prospective mates anyways. They all end up being alcoholic floozies from the get go, and finding chicks at bookstores or coffee shops is even worse. They all end up being too weird in the sack, or they are lesbians. Still not sure if I should just get in my families face and tell them to fuck off, or pretend I'm a homo. Willing to try anything at this point.

Yeah I want one to re-enact your avatar on top of twilight books in the non-fiction section.

Weird is hot. Unless you meant weird as in awkward where they just lay there motionless or something.

Thanks for your tolerance.
I admit we were young & stupid,
trying different contraceptives,
& both of us (must've) been incredibly fertile.
We eventually accepted that we were together to have children.
The vasectomy ensured it was only two.
We are both incredibly lucky to have such beautiful offspring
but, as suspected, we are no longer together.
So I've moved onto weird & awkward ...

In what way? It's pretty much the most effective way of controlling a birth.

Also, classy for challenging someone on their abortions... one of the most personal decisions anyone will ever have to make (i.e. whether to abort or raise a child in inadequate surroundings) is not ripe for trolling. Fuck you for caring about the feelings of a possible life over the feelings of a real one. Serious.
