constant deepbass help

Post by kstan8 » Thu Dec 29, 2011 8:50 pm

so im working on my first song (in fl studio 10) and im using the 3xosc to try and get a constant deep bass tone under my bassline. my problem is that when i play the 3xosc i can hear it "hit" the note then go into the bass. is there any way i can get it so that its just a constant sound, or is there a different plugin i can use to do this?

Maybe you should make the attack time longer? I don't know if you can do that.. Also check for any cutoff modulation or anything.

I'm assuming by hitting you mean like a click or something, that PROBABLY has to do with the attack time.

in 3xosc, go to the INS tab, under VOL change the adsr until it sounds right

edit: in fl, 3xosc is (imo) the best for making a clean simple sub

When you play low bass notes this happens. Bump up the attack until you can't hear it. It won't make a difference when the song plays. You may also have the same problem when you release the note, so bump up the release until the click stops as well.
