Bit harsh!? You should have got an order confirmation detailing what you ordered and if it was a CD ( rightly or wrongly ) then we would have changed it for you had you let us know.
No idea how we're giving off a bad vibe but not much I can do about that right now..
True. personally I don't think Chemical is that terrible, there's just few things that I don't like about how it functions that make me prefer other stores.
The first thing is of course the fact that you don't support PayPal, and I thus have to pay by bank transfer which is a pain in the ass if you have to transfer it to a foreign country.
Secondly, the fact that after I have completed my order, there is no way for me to see what it is exactly that I just ordered and how much it had cost. This may sound weird, but when I complete an order all I get is a message saying that I now need to transfer the total amount of my order to your bank account. I don't get a summary of my order as far as I can remember. And when I go to my account and want to check my orders right after I have made one, I am not able to view latest order for some reason.
The problem here is that, by having to transfer it manually opposed to being redirected to the PayPal website, I have to remember the total amount of my order. But it happened to me a couple of times already that by the time that I completed my order I couldn't remember what it had cost me exactly and I thus had to get back to the site, look up every single product that I bought, recalculate my order and add shipping cost to it.
However, both these times I didn't recalculate it properly and I ended up paying more than my order had initially cost. So apparently I now have some sort of credit on my account (which is nowhere to be found either so I have no idea how much exactly).
So if I have the option of chosing between doing all of the above, or just filling my basket, clicking checkout, clicking make order, getting redirected to the PayPal website and then clicking Pay Now with an absolute 0% of mistakes. No wonder I prefer Redeye over Chemical.
And then there's also of course the humongous stickers on the sleeves which are completely unnecessary, but those I can live with.
