2012, time for a new competition i say!

time will start at 12 noon GMT on saturday the 7th of january and will end at noon on monday the 9th, all tunes must be built during this time, or else you'll be disqualified (i'll be able to tell, dont even think about cheating)

-any genre/ style allowed
-any length
-any presets/daw or sample
-collabs allowed but only if it is both peoples only entry
-upload in mp3 please, my internet cant handle dling and uploading wavs

I didn't read it right I guess. I read it as him asking if he could gather drum samples and make patches. Whatever I'm tired.

edit: question! when we upload our tracks to the dropbox, how do we name them? Isn't the comp supposed to be anonymous until the results are in?

name them whatever you like, i'll rename them with a certain theme, so its anonymous... and jolly good fun

Whilst we're in danger of getting pretty pernickity about it all, arrangment is what a lot of song making is really. Obviously, having drum loops and synth lines and melodies all ready and eqed to fit in to a song beforehand would be going a bit too far, but say you make a song with just synth presets and breaks that would be allowed.

Its basically to say that if you have a template/sample libraies and patches, theres no need to not use them..
