think about it. By making their tunes vinyl only they eliminate a huge potential market. From the number of vinyl they sell in comparison to how many digital versions they could sell will be huge! Therefore less money for them. It's not difficult or expensive to put up a digital format on a number of sites in which i would say a very high percentage would go on to buy.

Respect the producer's/label's decision. They made the music/promo'd it/paid for mastering/pressed it/got it distros, I think they should make the decision how to put it out. For me, it's as simple as that.

when will you idiots realize that they're not in this for the money. they're not in it to sell a million copies and make big bucks. they're in it for the music.

vinyl only releases bring something special to the music. being able to hold it in your hands, knowing that this physical copy, this big flat piece of polyvinyl chloride with these tiny grooves etched into it, is pretty much the only way to own this music.

something you'll obviously never understand

thats their prerogative/privilege though innit? im just happy they share it with us at all... let alone through such a wonderfully presented product and satisfying medium. lets get off swamps back pls (not directed at you leyenda), they can run their shit however they like. if anyone disagrees just boycott them and stfu, actions louder than words etcetc

yeah but in that case it's not about ownership, it's about presenting it to other people. and a digital file is obviously more convenient.

100.1% agreed.

Now stop all the quarrel ladies and order the vinyl if you want to, and if you don't, then don't. :i:

i love how swamp is run tbh, loefah's doing it so well. i was a bit miffed when i realised that the alt mix would be on the flip but tbh he must have realised that people would just bitch and moan if he released one of them saying "waaah i wanted the other one" so tbh he's made a great decision.

i think it's a great label and doing vinyl only releases is keeping the medium going, basically i feel about it exactly how phigure and hendra do about all this

Trusta tweeted an earlyish 2012 release for Feels So, so i'd assume march sort of time (hopefully earlier though given the recent flurry of releases).
