Let me know your opinions but to me the sound quality of the bass is absolutely horrible. Also listened to it on a really nice system

I've been meaning to say this but i've noticed some dodgy distortion in all the tracks, i checked some rips and its the same, opened the tracks in audacity and its clipping all over the place, seems like really poor mastering to me.

Completely agree.
Honestly, the quality is so bad, and the bass so nonexistent that the midrange just pierces my ears and is actually quite painful to listen to. Definitely would never listen to this by choice. You can kind of hear the bass in the background, just barely. You can make out what the bass-line is
supposed to sound like, but there is absolutely no presence at all to it, horrible sound in my opinion, and definitely not worthy for release on DMZ. Hate to be so critical, but damn Coki........

I dont think its entirely coki's fault, i think its a bad pressing/bad mastering. When radio rips on youtube sound better than the full release...

Any they had the nerve to put on Matrix / Runout (A): DMZ (Scratched Out) 25A 91357 1A TRANSITION = 14 Years of BASS.
Truly a shame given their record of releases. :/ Hope they can get this sorted.

thought this whole EP was insane, split between lower octave and think your gone as the favorites. also who gives a f about the grammar lolllll
i thought it had plenty of bass btw i think that really just is the way the tracks are mixed, i dont think there's any issues mastering wise.. very hard heavy shit on a good system

So what I'm doing is just turning the Bass up. Lower Octave goes off!

it doesn't sound any good at all! out of all the records i got recently, this is probably the one that sounds the worst. and "turning the bass up on my mixer" doesn't compensate a bad mixdown or pressing!

if people have a problem with the product, how about just going back to your retailer and speaking with them??
You don't need to come onto a global forum and slag it off for all to see. no wonder vinyl is dying.... it takes a lot of time and effort to press a release, sometimes it goes wrong and there are mistakes. why bother at all eh?

i'm afraid i don't get that logic. as a customer who payed for the record i'm entitled to expect a high quality product. if it can't stand up to that i also got the right to voice my opinion about that. i didn't request my money back and i didn't blame anyone in particular, i was just saying that the quality of the pressing (judged from my own copy) isn't at dmz standarts and since there are several persons having the same impression, i guess i'm not completely wrong. and i shouldn't come on a forum and post that for all to see? so that people who aren't aware of that issue might still spend their money on that record and will be disappointed? are you serious? IF something kills the vinyl industry, then it's faulty products of that kind and not the customers who dare to voice their discontent.

Hahah "whining"? I'm sure if your copy sounded like mine (and others) you wouldn't be categorizing your discontent as "whining."
But obviously others are having the same issue with this release as I am. I literally laughed out loud when someone above wrote "no wonder vinyl is dying." As if expressing discontent with the quality of a release is the reason that the vinyl scene is dying (which it isn't at all, vinyl scene is still quite lively, sales increasing by the month). If anything is going to kill the vinyl scene it's people releasing poorly pressed vinyls.
All I'm saying is that, I know good and damn well, that what I'm hearing when I play this vinyl, isn't how it's supposed to sound. I see that a couple other people are also having this issue, quite frustrating honestly.
