the new logic pro ?

hey there i recently went to my apple store to buy Logic Pro 9 but they told me you now can only buy (download ) it online
and they don't sell the hard box copies anymore

am just wondering if you know is there any difference in the hardcopy box and the download version?

do you get more sounds / vst's in the box version as the download version is only like 420mb and i been told the box has like 4 c.d.'s and its like 40gb?

am just not sure if its worth for me to buy the download version and its different to the box version?

anyone know?

It's the same version but all the extra sound content is not available to DL and main stage is £20 extra. The boxed version is still over £300 so the money you save could be used to buy some better sound libraries or plugins.

edit* Actually I think if you add up the DL content for Logic at 20GB and the MainStage DL content at 20GB that probably is the lot, but will hammer your bandwidth.

There's 20GB of downloadable content, at least if you buy mainstage for 20 quid on the app store.

Yes there is way more additional downloads(that come with logic, you won't have to pay extra) than just the logic file once you have bought it from the app store, its the same version and all that.

Its the exact same Logic, but you now have the option of downloading the additional content from within logic instead of having to install 20g's or so of data in one go.
