My english teacher gave me a weird look when I mentioned that as the musical instrument I played. Like the wtf stare. I had to give her the 'wiki wiki' dj motion to confirm what i meant.

New Family Guy episodes have been extremely dissapointing whereas American Dad has been brilliant, seems to have been the case for a while now!

Had my first seminar of philosophy today (i switched from music tech cus my brain wasn't being used). I was really nervous cus I'd missed so much of the course, but the great thing about philosophy, you see, is that it's not what you know, but how you think. And if you think in the right way, you can think about and understand absolutely anything in the world, with no prior knowledge. And thanks to a combination of mentalist friends, interesting books, and a lot of LSD, I'm thinking in the right way. Feel like I'm getting somewhere!
My name is Dom and I like making ambientish music and drinking tea. Nice to meet you.

you done logic or linguistics yet??

i could read and understand elementary philosophy, logic was my downfall though... if you get to 3rd year and cant do Logic you're FUCKED for philosophy, so learn that as hard as you can, the rest is basically literary analysis for the first two years, but 3rd year metaphysics/logic of modality/necessitarianism was some of the hardest stuff i've ever had to do!

enjoy though, its totally a subject where you get out exactly what you put in :Q:

what modules you doin btw?
