I Got Ol' Dirty Bastard's FBI File

Post by drokkr » Tue Jan 10, 2012 3:24 am

Interesting read.

http://gun.io/blog/i-got-ol-dirty-bastards-fbi-file/

"One of my hobbies is liberating government documents using Freedom of Information Act requests. To do this, I use the service MuckRock, which allows users to submit FOIA requests online. Using MuckRock, I have been able to obtain the FBI profile of Wu-Tang Clan member "Ol' Dirty Bastard," best known for his dirty rhymes and interruping the Grammy's."

"Some gems include:

"The WTC is heavily involved in the sale of drugs, illegal guns, weapons possession, murder, carjacking and other types of violent crime." [p5]
Connections to the murder of Robert "Pooh" Johnson and Jerome "Boo Boo" Estrella. [p6]
Connection to murder of Ishamael "Hoody" Kourma. [p13]
A shoot-out with the NYPD. [p15]
Arrest for felony possession of body armour. [p16]
Connections to the Bloods Gang. [p17]
Found in possession of large bags full of paper currency. [p40]
Details of his being robbed and shot while staying in the Kingston projects. [p45]"

wasn't Ghostface's manager an undercover fed trying to dig dirt on the Clan's alleged mob links?

EDIT: should've checked to see if the link worked.

8 remaining member are doing a show in Humboldt next week...
Ima snub it, I think... I've seen em on New Years 4 years ago, though method man was ill, the rest of the clan had no shame in getting so faded they couldn't finish a single sentence, waste of 50 clams, IMHO.

That's quite a list of crimes there - someone certainly deserved severe punishment. I imagine if any of it went to court you'd see the whole clan in da front to show support. Although if ODB shed any tearz during the hearing it would bring a little shame on a ******. No doubt it would have been a triumph if the city lost their case and the clan were reunited.

I remember there was an article in the New Yorker a few years ago about this guy who lived in the neighborhood where i lived Brooklyn called Russell Jones (which was also ODBs name) that always had crazy ass people calling him thinking he was ODB.

Actualy here it is: http://www.newyorker.com/archive/2005/0 ... talk_agger

So fucking funny.. The part where method man calls him is priceless. And people calling him to talk about ODB after he died
