powered mixers into active moniters?

simple enuff - is running all my kit though a powered mixer into my active monitors likely to make em blow up? ive seen too many smokey cones to feel safe doin it...

If yr gonna take an amplified output and plug em into amps, then yh - dont do it, the amps in yr moniters are exact for the drivers & they want line level.

Most powered mixers Ive seen live have had a 'pre-poweramp' out - grab that for the powered moniters, then run some long speaker cables to yr lounge room with some beefy hi-fi speakers runnin off the mixers amp 8)
