Sideways' Music Theory

Post by Sideways____ » Tue Jan 17, 2012 4:56 pm

Hi guys!
I've just started getting theory lessons from my best friend, i've always had an ear for harmony and have played instruments since i was young but this year i've been having trouble with A level music, to cut to the chase i'm going from the very beggining of music theory to make sure i dont miss anything and
was wondering if anyone would be interested in me posting my learnings (from whats shes teaching me) for some of the people more desperate to learn in a structured manner. I know there's a wealth of knowledge out there already but i thought some people may want and benefit from this, i can even draw nice little pictures and diagrams, anyway what are your thoughts? Anyone want it? :D

sure that would be quite helpful!

I have serious trouble understanding it from trying to read up on the internet about it. Wish I could have lessons in person.
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

I'd be interested :)
I used to know a lot back when I played violin, piano, bass etc.... kind of forgotten it all and just recently starting to relearn everything...

More music theory = :D

Sounds like a brilliant idea bro, plus you'd even learn stuff from it too, i always find teaching someone something expands your own knowledge of whatever your teaching
